RetirementForge Advisor Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the RetirementForge platform ("Platform"), you ("Advisor") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

RetirementForge provides financial advisors with tools for client management, retirement planning sessions, and financial illustration generation. The Platform is designed to support — not replace — your professional judgment and fiduciary responsibilities.

3. Advisor Responsibilities

3.1 Licensing and Compliance

You represent and warrant that you hold all licenses, registrations, and certifications required by applicable federal, state, and local laws to provide financial advisory services. You are solely responsible for maintaining these qualifications.

3.2 Fiduciary Duty

You acknowledge that the Platform is a tool to assist your practice. All recommendations, illustrations, and plans presented to clients remain your professional responsibility. RetirementForge does not provide financial advice.

3.3 Client Data

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your clients before entering their personal and financial information into the Platform. You agree to handle all client data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

3.4 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate and current information when using the Platform. Financial illustrations and projections generated by the Platform are based on the data you provide and the assumptions built into the calculation models.

4. Permitted Use

4.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify RetirementForge immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

You acknowledge that the Platform maintains an immutable audit log of all session activities, including scenarios presented, illustrations generated, and documents shared with clients. This audit trail is maintained for compliance purposes and cannot be modified or deleted.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform are owned by RetirementForge and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the client data you enter into the Platform.

7. Data Privacy and Security

RetirementForge implements industry-standard security measures to protect data stored on the Platform. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that no system is completely secure, and RetirementForge cannot guarantee absolute security of data.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Financial Advice

RetirementForge is a software platform and does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. All calculations, projections, and illustrations are tools to support your professional practice.

8.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in our calculation engines, financial projections involve inherent uncertainty. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before presenting them to clients.

8.3 Platform Availability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RetirementForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RetirementForge from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

11. Termination

RetirementForge reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

RetirementForge may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform and require re-acceptance. Your continued use after re-acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
